The Lifestyle battery holds enough power for 300 cycles (1 Cycle = 1 open 1 close) A recliner with moderate usage can go a full month.
The battery can be charged 2 ways: 1. Using the existing recliner’s power cable or 2. The Included Wall Charger.
It Has a ‘low power’ light and Alarm which warns you to charge it soon.
Easy and safe to install: Lifestyle recliner battery pack is designed to be quick and simple to install. All you need to do is unplug the motor from the power supply and plug the battery in between the two.
The Lifestyle battery works with most 2-prong style recliner connections, make sure you check compatibility before purchasing.
The battery should be placed away from the mechanism and motor and somewhere it will not get crushed or damage when the recliner operates.
Please note that any ‘always-on lighted hand controls’ features on your recliner, including small LED lights, will mean you need to charge the battery more often.
